I visited New York for the first time in 2007 and have been wanting to go back ever since.. It’s one of the top points on my Bucketlist! πŸ™‚
There’s just something about the amazing chaos, diversity, energy and inspiration. The excitement of every neighborhood (because they’re all so different!), whether it’s a new restaurant, bar og unique store opening up.. As the years have gone by, I still haven’t been back to New York, but I would like to change that one day. And when I do, I will do it right. I wanna make sure I have enough time to explore everything this crazy city has to offer, I’m therefore starting with the #1 point on my New York City Bucketlist;

  1. Live a month in New York City and get to know the city like a local!
  2. Party on a NYC Rooftop
  3. Go to a bottomless boozy brunch with friends
  4. Wander through Times Square
  5. Read a book at the NYC Public Library
  6. Visit the Ground Zero memorial
  7. Find the best coffee shop in New York City
  8. Eat your way through Smorgasburg – the largest weekly open-air food market in America!
  9. Visit Brooklyn Flea Market
  10. Visit Grand Central Station
  11. Take in the views of NYC from Top of the Rock
  12. Walk the High Line with a take-away coffee
  13. Attend the New York Food & Wine Festival
  14. Stay in the Plaza Hotel around christmas time
  15. Attend a free yoga session in a New York City park
  16. Have a picnic in Central Park
  17. Go on a bike ride in Central Park
  18. Go for a walk in Central Park
  19. Relax in Central Park with a blanket, a good book, a coffee & lunch
  20. Vacay in the Hampton’s
  21. Fly a trapeze through Trapeze School New York
  22. Enjoy a true NYC bagel
  23. Watch a Broadway show
  24. Take a picture of the iconic New York skyline
  25. Eat a hotdog from a local NYC food-cart

  29. See the Statue of Liberty
  30. Watch a free movie in Bryant Park (summer)
  31. Go ice skating in Central Park
  32. Take a picture of the iconic Flat Iron Building
  33. Visit Carrie’s apartment on 66 Perry Street in West Village (SATC!)
  34. Go kayaking on Hudson River for free
  35. Check of the cool architecture of the Vessel in Hudson Yards
  36. See a baseball game at Yankee Stadium
  37. Eat your way through Chelsea market
  38. Check out Chelsea Art Galleries (Free wine, bites and art exhibits on Thursdays after 6.30 pm)
  39. Tour the Brooklyn Brewery
  40. Shop fresh produce at a NYC Farmer’s Market
  41. Admire the architecture of St. Patrick’s Cathedral
  42. Fancy drinks at Nubeluz
  43. Grab a slice at the city’s best pizzerias
  44. Take a helicopter tour over the city
  45. Go on an organized NYC food tour
  46. Walk across iconic Brooklyn Bridge & take pictures during sunset
  47. Indulge in amazing cookies at Levain Bakery
  48. Wander through Greenwich Village (great food, people & thrifting!)
  49. Shop for less at sample sales (pop-up sales!)

  59. Stroll the street of 5th Avenue (most expensive shopping street!)
